The objectives of the Atlin Historical Society are:
To gather and preserve information and records connected with the history of the area.
To maintain and develop a museum for the preservation of: examples of historic First Nation's arts and crafts, Atlin related objects of historic interest and value.
To undertake such other activities which from time to time may be deemed appropriate.
The operation of the Society is to be chiefly carried on in Atlin and the surrounding area.
The Society's goals are:
To keep the local history a part of the community.
To be educational.
To stimulate public interest in Atlin's history.
to collaborate with other historical organizations.
